A New Bull Market of 2017?

I cannot stress strongly enough the importance of understanding where the markets are currently technically located, with regards to different time frames and which help to guide all my trading and investing decisions.

The longer that the SPX is inside a ‘consolidation pattern’ and going sideways, the bigger the ‘Break Out’. There is a very strong bullish posture on all time frames within the markets. A unique ‘Sentiment Indicator’ has now been reset from being overbought to oversold, therefore, there is huge potential to the upside. Momentum has been reset!  In my market article review, from last February 28th, 2017, I discussed that the “Stealth ‘Bull Market’ In Stocks Is Still In Progress”.

Additionally, I also wrote about how “Elliott’s theory is based on the Dow theory in that stock prices move in waves. Because of the “fractal” nature of …

Is Fracking Poisoning America’s Freshwater Supply?

Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking as it’s more commonly referred to, is used to stimulate the production of oil and gas from unconventional oil and gas deposits – shales, coalbeds, and tight sands. These types of deposits need to be stimulated because they have a lower permeability than conventional reservoirs and require the additional stimulation for production.

Hydraulic fracturing involves drilling a well then injecting it with a slurry of water, chemical additives and proppants. Wells are drilled and lined with a steel pipe that’s cemented into place. A perforating gun is used to shoot small holes through the steel and cement into the shale. The highly pressurized fluid and proppant mixture injected into the well escapes and create cracks and fractures in the surrounding shale layers and that stimulates the flow of natural gas or oil. The proppants (grains of …

Donald Trump and the Destruction of American Credibility

It comes as no surprise to anyone outside of the United States that leaders of nations allied with the U.S. no longer see it as the leader of the free world. Worse, governments of Europe and elsewhere increasingly move to avoid having to legitimize the dubiously elected president by interacting with him in any way.

Canada, for example, has made no effort to solidify its proferred invitation to come to Canada. At the recent G7 summit, the boorish Trump’s elbowing his way to the front of a group of dignitaries went viral, and is seen as representative of Trump’s childish disposition.

Der Spiegel, the German magazine with weekly readership of 840,000 and billed as the “most read publication of its kind” in Europe, has harnessed the collective contempt most Europeans harbour toward Trump in an article entitled, “It’s Time to …

Credit Downgrades May Prompt Market Capital Shift

Recent news regarding Moody’s credit downgrades in China will likely continue to roil the global markets and present multiple unique opportunities for strategic investors.  As debt concerns grow throughout some areas of Asia and new US policy efforts shake up some common perceptions, a shift in capital is likely to occur over the next few months.

Today, I read about massive layoffs in India’s technology sector as a reaction to decreasing engagement of foreign IT services/support is a result of President Trump’s policies.  When we take this news in combination with Moody’s credit downgrades for China and the fact that almost all of South East Asia is interconnected in terms of economy and trade, we begin to see a picture that is fairly clear in terms of transitional economic shifts.

If India and a portion of South East Asia suffer …

Province Brands CEO Dooma Wendschuh and the Cannabis “Alcohol Killer” Copy

Province Brands is the brainchild of former Assasin’s Creed developer Dooma Wendschuh. These are a range of alcohol-free, cannabinoid-charged adult beverages that can be consumed instead of alcholic beverages but without the detrimental side effects of alcohol. And better still, the “dose curve” of these novel creations will emulate that of alcohol, meaning consumers won’t need an hour for the effect to come on, and 4-6 hours for the effects to wear off. The company is in the process of capitalizing its business plan, and anticipates becoming a publicly traded company in due course.

Transcript:

James West:    Dooma, thanks for joining us today.

Dooma Wendschuh:     Thank you.

James West:    Dooma, let’s start with an overview: what’s the value proposition for investors in Province Brands?

Dooma Wendschuh:     It is a tremendous value proposition and a chance not just to be involved …

James West:    Bruce, so you made an announcement today about the streaming cannabis business. Why don’t you give me an overview what that’s all about?

Bruce Linton:  Well, we called it Canopy Rivers, because it is a streaming deal, but streams are kind of small – they’re like creeks or dripping faucets, and we wanted to do something a bit bigger, so we called it ‘the river’. And the way it works is, in this sector …
